When the journey gets tough…

Hey there, my Beautiful friend on the other side of this screen!
I know what you’re thinking…sheesh, what happened!? Where have you been, Brenda!? Well, because I committed to being completely honest and transparent on this platform, I have been dealing with not feeling like writing and fighting my hormones because, oh yeah, let me back up just a tad bit. I am 10 weeks pregnant! To God be all the Glory for this beautiful rainbow baby preparing to debut approximately the end of September 2021. I had not mentioned it because we were not ready yet. We (meaning my husband and I) wanted to wait until at least our first doctor’s appointment to announce it, and then after that, I was struggling to get the strength to type my thoughts on this screen.

I can’t wait to share with you guys all the fun and not-so-fun things going on with my body as I journey on this 2nd pregnancy which is my 3rd because according to the doctors, they do count miscarriages—got another blog for that too. Until then, and in my upcoming blog post, I wanted to share some tips on moving forward despite not wanting to.

This Blog got started as an act of obedience. Yes, my friend Obedience. I didn’t want to write. Heck, some days, I don’t even think I can do this, but despite what I feel or think, my God said, I can use you, will you listen? Will you take a leap of faith and allow me to lead you as I use your experiences for my Glory and to help someone else? And after many months of thinking and thinking, I finally decided to move forward and trust him. It is hard, and it can be frightening even though our God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
how will you ever know that it will work or not if you do not take that leap of faith? How will you know if you do not try? At least if it does not work, you can go back to your drawing board and try again. But until you trust that God will be with you, especially if he’s put that idea or that business in your heart, there is no way you can fail. Now I did not say you will not go through opposition, but how can we grow if we don’t go through some? Remember, Diamonds are built under pressure. It is a part of life.

Don’t wait any longer to walk in your purpose and do what God has called you to do. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
Walk and allow him to lead you even when you fall short or don’t feel like doing this. Remember why you started and focus on the goal even if the finish line seems a little blurry. Trust Gods’ timing, even though that is easier said than done.
Thank you for taking the time to read these lines and come along this journey with me.
Heavenly Father, thank you for this beautiful human being reading the lines that have been typed to share from my screen to their screen. I Pray that you give them wisdom, strength, and encouragement as they take a bold leap of faith to trust you and the plans you have set out before them in Jesus Name, Amen.
